As the anticipation for the 2025 high school football season builds across Florida, teams are beginning to roll out their upcoming schedules—and one Central Florida squad that fans should keep a close eye on is the Leesburg Yellow Jackets.
The Yellow Jackets will hit the gridiron for a challenging 10-game regular season, kicking off their campaign with a preseason showdown against DeLand on August 15 at 7 p.m. This early test will serve as a tune-up before the official season opener.
Leesburg will open regular season play on the road, traveling to face University on August 22, followed by another away matchup at Wildwood on August 29. These early road games will offer the Yellow Jackets a chance to test their chemistry and depth away from home.

Leesburg’s home field will host key contests against Innovation, Land O’ Lakes, Lecanto, and South Lake. With a loyal fan base ready to pack the stands, these games will give the Yellow Jackets an opportunity to showcase their progress and make a strong push toward the postseason.
Other matchups on the schedule include road trips to Eustis (October 3) and Lyman (October 17), as well as a home game versus Innovation on September 5. Every game will count as the Jackets look to improve on last season’s performance and aim for a playoff berth.
